WOW! What a treat. The wonderful Pauline Jean with her incredible all-female band played a ridiculous set in tribute to Haiti where Pauline is from. I was soooooooooooooo inspired. Mimi Jones – bass, Miki Hayama – piano, Paula Green – perc., Camille Thurman – tenor sax, Shirazette Tinnen – drums!!!!!!!

I could hardly believe it myself when we went to see the amazing alto saxophonist and composer Dave Binney play the 55 bar. Chris Potter arrived at 2am and blew the roof off! Wow and he’s so lovely too.
